COMPUTER CODE

C.L.A.I.R.E. is a sophisticated software package that simulates the dynamics of charged particles within a metal lattice

C.L.A.I.R.E. has been developed to analyze the dynamic of the shot and target based on the previous system of differential equations

With C.L.A.I.R.E. we can evaluate the number of effective collisions using a Montecarlo approach

OUTLOOK

In the majority of cold fusion calorimetric experiments, studying the Pd-D system, an excess of heat production ranging between some tenth of watts for cubic centimeter up to some hundreds of watts for cubic centimeter has been observed

We have seen, in the above described study, that there is a "collision effect" between deuterons embedded within a Ni lattice. The simulation allowed us to estimate that approximately 500 collisions occur over 106 particles entering in the lattice with a target staying at rest into a tetrahedral site and that the deuterons accelerated by the lattice field can gain an energy of some KeV

These can be the first step toward a further developments of a theoretical study in such a matter
